Description

This is one of the nearest National Park from Dar Es Salaam,the main Tanzania business city. This is the ideal for the guests who they need to spend few times and the whole road from the city center to the park is all season road with comfort.

The broad Mkata floodplain is an ideal place to spot lions as they lazily survey the vast herds of buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, and impala that roam the grasslands. Elephants seek the shade of acacia stands while hippopotamus wallow in pools close to the entrance gate.

Detailed Itinerary

  • Day : 1 : Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

    Early morning pick-up from your chosen location, hotel or airport in Dar es Salaam, and drive to Mikumi National Park which is almost 5 to 6 hours from Dar es Salaam. You will arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch. Then after lunch you will proceed with the game drive till evening-viewing animals such as Lions, Elephants, Giraffe, Buffalo, Wildebeest, Antelopes, Hippos, Crocodiles and Warthog.

  • Day : 2 Mikumi National Park

    Full day game drives around Mikumi National Park with picnic lunch. Later on, in the evening, go back to the camp or lodge in Mikumi for dinner and overnight.

  • Day : 3 Mikumi National Park to Dar Es Salaam

    Morning breakfast, then drive back to Dar Es Salaam for drop off. That will be the end of our safari.
